Fraction Kites

I saw this idea on Pinterest and I just had to add this project to our Math Wall.  The students created beautiful kites and showed all the fractions that created the whole.

 The third graders loved this project! 

My third graders had a fun time creating these area and perimeter animals, people, ect...   

         

   

           

   

                 

My third graders have been hard at work creating a beautiful skyline.  The focus of this project was to create arrays on the buildings, sidewalk, and even the night sky.
